Fix The 6ix - Deanna Lentini Helps Homeless In Toronto

Every single day, thousands of people are left hungry, impoverished, and alone all over the world.

Having to live on the streets, no roof over their head, and uncertain of where their next meal is coming from, the world seems like a dark and cruel place.

Deanna & Volunteers

Through this darkness however, is a tiny ray of light.  A light whose name is Deanna Lentinithe Founding Director of Fix The 6ix.

Deanna and her team of volunteers have put in countless hours working to gather unused or partially used gift cards for the homeless of Toronto.  Her no-cost donation model is what really sets her apart from other groups across the city, and that's why she's excelling.

For Deanna, this project started at the young age of 5, where seeing the homeless downtown genuinely hurt her to the point of tears as an adolescent.  Now at 22,  Deanna has the fortitude, determination, and means to go after changing an otherwise heartbreaking situation for those living with the reality of extreme poverty.

In honour of her incredible charity and work ethic to helping those in need, Deanna is Lyfe Happens' June 2016 Millennial Of The Month.

Enjoy.
