Two guys in their late twenties / early thirties (Joshua Fields Millburn and Ryan Nicodemus) who had six figure jobs and felt that they were not getting the most out of life. They were not happy. They had the nice cars, house and high fashion but in the end they still felt a void and tried to fill it with stuff.
They stumbled upon other people choosing minimalism as a way of decluttering. They blogged about their experiences and started a website called the minimalists and talked about how they shifted from their six figure jobs to a simpler life and become happier in the process.
